Privacy Policy
Applies to the Android application Mouse vs Cat: Kitchen Chase
(package com.mousevcat.game) · Effective 7 August 2026 · Last updated 16 August 2026
The short version. The game has no user accounts and no sign-in. We, the developer, do not collect, store or transmit any personal data about you. Your game progress stays on your device. The game does show ads through Google AdMob, and ad networks use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads — that part is described in full below.
1. Who this policy is from
This game is published by HINDUKUSH (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at vikasaivyas@gmail.com about anything in this policy.
2. What we do not do
- There is no registration, no login and no user account of any kind.
- There is no subscription and no in-app purchase.
- We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera input.
- We do not collect or request location data. The app has no location permission.
- We do not run our own analytics, crash reporting or advertising servers.
- We do not sell or rent data to anyone, because we do not hold any.
3. Data the game stores on your device
The game keeps a small amount of information locally so you do not lose your place. It never leaves your phone, we cannot read it, and it is not backed up to us:
| Stored value | Why |
|---|---|
| Unlocked level, last played level, which levels have been cleared, stars and best score per level | So progress and the RESUME button work |
| Coin balance | So coins you earned are still there next time |
| Diamond balance | Diamonds unlock the next level and buy shop items |
| How many of each shop item you own | So items you bought are still in your bag next time |
| Sound on/off, and whether the how-to-play screen was seen | Settings |
This is written with Android’s standard app-private preference storage. Uninstalling the game, or using Android’s “Clear data” option in system settings, deletes all of it permanently. Choosing New Game in the app resets level progress and stars.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and is funded by ads served through Google AdMob. Two kinds appear:
- Rewarded ads you choose to watch, to earn coins or to continue after being caught.
- Interstitial ads that can appear when you restart a level.
To deliver, cap and measure those ads, Google and its advertising partners may process technical information from your device, such as your advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, coarse region derived from the IP address, and ad interaction events (an ad was shown, clicked, or a reward was granted). This processing is carried out by Google as an independent service, not by us, and we do not receive any of that data in a form that identifies you.
Google’s handling of this information is described here:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- Google Privacy Policy
- About AdMob and data collection
The app declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission for this reason,
as Google requires for apps that use the advertising identifier.
Your choices about ads
- Watching a rewarded ad is always optional. You can play every level without watching one.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and turn off ad personalisation, in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by phone).
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the consent choice shown before ads load controls whether personalised ads are used.
5. Internet permissions and why they exist
| Permission | Reason |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Loading ads. The game itself plays offline. |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Used by the ads SDK to check connectivity before requesting an ad. |
VIBRATE | Short haptic feedback when you dash, hit a trap or get caught. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Advertising identifier, used by AdMob as described above. |
6. Children
The game contains no violence beyond a cartoon cat chasing a cartoon mouse, and no chat, social features or user-generated content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because ads are served by a third party, we ask parents to review the ad settings on the device. If you believe a child’s personal data has somehow been collected through this app, contact us at vikasaivyas@gmail.com and we will act on it.
7. Data retention and deletion
We hold no personal data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Everything the game saves is on your device: uninstall the app, or use “Clear data” in Android settings, and it is gone. Data processed by Google for advertising is governed by Google’s own retention policies, linked in section 4.
8. Security
Game data is stored in the app’s private storage area, which other apps cannot read on a normal, non-rooted device. Since no personal data is transmitted to us, there is no account to be breached and no server of ours holding your information.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting something new, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the Google Play release notes.
